Fort Lewis College is committed to the well-being and support of all community members. Scroll down to submit a report when you are concerned about an individual's mental health, disruptive behavior, discrimination and bias, and/or any other concern affecting our campus community. This form is monitored during regular operating hours.
Who gets the report? Most initial reports will be routed to our Student Well-Being Case Manager within the Division of Student Engagement for initial review and risk assessment. Reports may then be be assigned to other departments such as Title IX, Equal Opportunity, and Housing as needed.
What happens next? Once a report is received, and initial risk is assessed, reports may be discussed at Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) meetings in order to create appropriate intervention plans &/or discuss potential risk to the campus community. The BIT is a cross-campus collaboration of student-serving staff and faculty dedicated to identify potential threats to the community. FLC is a campus that cares, and you can rest assured that BIT will work with appropriate departments to coordinate support, with each individual's best interest in mind.
You always have the option to follow up on this report. If you have questions, concerns, or additional information, please email the Student Well-Being Case Manager, Ellie Simpson, at ecsimpson@fortlewis.edu
You will automatically receive a copy of your own report at the e-mail address you submit from. You may forward this e-mail to a Supervisor, Director, Department Chair or Dean if you choose.
Per Fort Lewis College security protocols, please remember to permanently delete all copies of this report within 48 hours or when no longer needed and ensure that anyone you forward report to does the same.
