FLC Cycling three-peats as #2 in the nation!

The Skyhawks cycling team finished its season ranked #2 in the nation in Division I cycling after securing second place at USA Cycling’s Collegiate Road Nationals, in Asheville, North Carolina, May 13 - 16.

Sofia Gomez-Villafañe closed out her Skyhawks career with a fourth-place finish in the individual omnium, while Jenna MacPherson took 16th, Emily Abraham 31st, and Sydney Edmonson 45th place.

The men’s top competitor was Ian McPherson, finishing in 11th place in the individual omnium. Ryan Standish rode to 20th place, and Emmanuel Gagne came in 23rd.

Other finishes include Cormac McGeough taking 18th place in the individual time trials, Troy Meeker at 36th, Thomas Gauthier at 46th, and Kolben Preble in 51st place.
