New academic options debut

Students will have several new majors and concentrations to choose from starting the Fall 2016 semester. The new academic options are designed to better prepare students with the skills needed in today’s workplaces.

Here are the new majors available to students this fall:

  • Biochemistry
  • Communication Design
  • Education Studies
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Exercise Specialist
  • Humanities & Social Sciences
  • Journalism & Multimedia Studies
  • Music Education
  • Sport Administration
  • Studio Art
  • Writing

Other new academic concentrations within majors include Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship & Commercial Music, Thermal/Fluids and Electro/Mechanical physics, and Cultural Resource Management.
