Shannon Soignier

Shannon Soignier (International Relations, ‘99) has put together several talents to get where she is today. She has a background in medicine and meditation, and an interest in world affairs that started with her studies at FLC.

Those interests led her to start The Soignier Law Firm, along with her husband, Amos (Political Science, ‘99), specializing in workers compensation and social security.

Soignier has also lived in lots of places pursuing that career. But she kept coming back to Durango.

“I have three degrees and numerous certificates, and by far Fort Lewis College was my favorite,” she says. “Everything about Durango is ideal. That connection with nature is super important.”
