Chief Ouray's home

Subjects: Ute Indians--Dwellings--Colorado--Photographs; Montrose County (Colo.)
Notes: Rectangular shaped home with door centered at front and four windows, two on either side of the door. Pitched roof with end gables. Brick chimney at one end of the house and stove pipe chimney near the center of the roof. A barrel sits near the door. Two numbers written on sleeve C15 and (more recently) 425. Hand-written on sleeve is "Ourays Home Copy from Miss Hayo(?)"
