Notes: View of wash full of water and sandstone embankment with large boulders and pinyons in the background. A man is in the upper right corner of the image. The sleeve states that it is a image of a cistern in McElmo Canyon, just west of Cortez, Colorado. Two numbers written on sleeve 1438 and (more recently) 464. Also written on sleeve is "Mc Elmo Canon Cisterns". Two negatives are housed in the same sleeve.
