Subjects: Archaeological sites--Colorado--Utah--Photographs; Hovenweep National Monument (Colo. and Utah)
Notes: Two gentlemen sitting near rim of canyon. One is sitting near a remnant of a sandstone block wall and the other is closer to the rim looking into the canyon with a pair of binoculars. Near the head of the canyon, several structures can be seen. Two numbers written on sleeve 1448 and (more recently) 443. Also typed on sleeve is "Hovenweep ruins from lower end"
