For Colorado residents

Colorado values its people, and it values education.

College Opportunity Fund (COF)

The College Opportunity Fund (COF) reduces the price of tuition for residents like you. It's what's known as "in-state tuition." Because COF is a stipend, as opposed to a loan, you do not need to repay it. Ever. You do need to complete an application, though.

FLC Tuition Promise

As a Colorado resident, if your family's income is $60,000 or less, FLC will pay your tuition. To qualify for the FLC Tuition Promise, you'll need to complete the FAFSA and apply for COF.

Native American Tuition Waiver

As a student from a federally recognized Native American Tribe or Alaska Native Village, you can attend FLC tuition free. You will still have other expenses: student fees, housing and meal costs, books, etc. Tribal and other scholarships may help cover these costs.

Paying for college

Beyond our low tuition and fees, there are many ways to bring your education within reach. We offer scholarships, in-state tuition, flexible payment options, agreements with community colleges, and more.
