Student Organizations

There are more than 70 student-run organizations, ranging from the American Indian Science and Engineering Society to KDUR Radio to the Taekwon-Do Club.

  • Academic clubs, groups, and honor societies include the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Beta Alpha Psi (the accounting and finance honor society), and chapters of AIGA (the professional association for design) and the National Association for Music Education.
  • Service-based organizations include Engineers Without Borders, Society of Business Leaders, and Sociology Club.
  • The Terry R. Bacon Leadership Center, offers resources, assistance, and guidance to student clubs and organizations.

Residential Options

  • Student housing offers six residence halls and two apartment buildings, with singles, doubles, and suites.
  • Animas Hall Our newest residence hall features suites with private rooms that include a mini-fridge, microwave, and an LCD television. There is also a computer lab and a live-in Faculty-in-Residence.
  • Living Learning Communities are an exciting way to connect with students who share your interests.
  • Campus amenities include the Recreation Center, an indoor pool, an expanded and remodeled Student Union, and access to an extensive trail system for mountain biking, running, and hiking.
