Principal highways to Durango: U.S. 550 and U.S. 160
Driving from the Denver area: From U.S. 285 South, turn right on CO 112 heading west to Del Norte. In Del Norte, turn right onto U.S. 160. Follow U.S. 160 West into Durango. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160-550. When it splits, follow U.S. 550 to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs to the Office of Admission & Advising.
Driving from the Grand Junction area: U.S. 50 South to U.S. 550 South to Durango. U.S. 550 becomes Main Avenue. Follow Main Avenue through downtown Durango to 8th Street. Turn left on 8th Street. When it dead-ends, turn left on 8th Avenue. Follow to top of the hill. At the traffic light, turn left and follow signs to the Office of Admission & Advising.
Driving from Colorado Springs - Pueblo areas: I/25 South to U.S. 160 West into Durango. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160-550. When it splits, follow U.S. 550 to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs to the Office of Admission and Advising.
Driving from Albuquerque, NM: U.S. 550 North to Durango. Follow U.S. 550 North to College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive, follow for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Fort Lewis Drive. Follow signs to the Office of Admission & Advising.
Daily flights arrive at and depart from the Durango-La Plata County Airport. Daily flights from the Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas-Fort Worth are available.
Fort Lewis College is located about 20 minutes from the airport.
When exiting the airport, follow CO 172 to U.S. 160 West. U.S. 160 becomes U.S. 160-550.

Parking permits are required for all vehicles on campus from September - April. Summer parking is free!

Visitors are welcome at the Fort Lewis College Campus. Permits may be purchased as mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
ALL VEHICLES PARKED IN METERED SPACES MUST PAY FOR METERED PARKING, including vehicles with parking permits. Vehicles exceeding the paid 2-hour time limit will be ticketed or towed.
