Fort Lewis College has developed academic standards to ensure students are making progress toward degree requirements. These standards are recommended by the Faculty Senate, approved by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and enforced by the Registrar. Students are monitored each semester for their compliance with academic standards. Students who are determined to not be meeting standards may continue their enrollment at Fort Lewis College only under specified conditions.
Academic standards for pre-baccalaureate, undergraduate, and post-baccalaureate students are the charge of the Academic Standards Committee. The academic standards for graduate students are the charge of the Graduate Academic Standards Committee.
