- Work earnestly on all my studies and turn in my homework assignments.
- Maintain at least a 2.0 or C average in my core classes (math, science, English, social studies, foreign languages) to be eligible for the program and field trips.
- Have respect for myself as an individual and for other people and their differences.
- Attend Talent Search activities and workshops at least twice a year.
- Graduate from high school.
- Work toward admission into college or vocational school after I graduate from high school.
- Attend tutoring sessions as needed.

Parent Income Information
TRIO is funded to serve students mainly from lower-income backgrounds. Please provide this info if you intend to qualify for TRIO’s income eligibility. The info we need is called “Taxable income” for last year.

To be eligible for Talent Search, a student must be either first generation (meaning neither parent has completed a four-year/bachelor’s degree) or income eligible (based on family size and taxable income) or both.

If you do not have this information on hand, a TRIO staff member will follow up with a phone call, but please know that your child’s application will not be complete until we receive this information.
