Students must successfully complete remedial or supplemental academic instruction requirements in composition and mathematics by the time they earn 30 credits in courses numbered 100 or higher at Fort Lewis College. Click here to read the full text of the policy.
Successful completion is defined as testing at the college-level in the appropriate Accuplacer test; earning a grade of C- or better in the appropriate TRS or college-level course taken with supplemental academic instruction at Fort Lewis College; establishing the appropriate remedial course or college-level course has been completed with a grade of C- or better at another institution via submission of an official transcript; or establishing the appropriate college-level course has been completed through approved credit-by-exam procedures.
