Over 30 years of professional health care experience yielding uniquely broad expertise in clinical and nonclinical aspects of health care delivery, health care education, and health policy. The combination of my work as a professor in both a major state university and two nursing schools, a Marketing Liaison for a large inpatient rehabilitation center, a clinical developmental research associate in a major pharmaceutical company, a case manager in a large private hospital, and an intensive care and palliative care nurse in teaching and private hospitals provides me with unparalleled insight into the challenges of our health care system.
