FLC recruits diverse students, ensures they attain an affordable college degree, and maintains strong enrollment.

  1. Develop a comprehensive plan to recruit students from diverse populations.
  2. Elevate new student orientation models to increase retention.
  3. Institutionalize conditional admission programming offering comprehensive support for at-risk students.
  4. Improve the dual enrollment student experience to serve high school learners better and increase enrollment at FLC.

Career readiness

Ensure all students graduate with the skills, experiences, and networks necessary for meaningful employment.

  1. Develop systems and strategies for career readiness that lead to stronger career outcomes.
  2. Offer work-based learning programs in partnership with employers that address industry needs.
  3. Integrate career-connected learning and essential critical and technological 21st-century skills into the curriculum to prepare students for careers and graduate studies (see Academics).
