For Adventure Education majors, Outdoor Pursuits and our river guiding service, FLOW, offer opportunities to put your knowledge into action.

As an Early Childhood Education major, you’ll study preschool through third-grade learning, and graduate ready to start working as a teacher for this age group. Some of the teaching might look like play, but your students will be developing a foundation that supports the rest of their educational path.

A World Languages K-12 major prepares you not only to learn Spanish, but to teach it, as well. What’s more, learning Spanish at FLC means learning the cultures, histories, and current social contexts of Spanish speakers. You’ll integrate your learning of culture and language with the fundamentals of teaching.
