You love atoms, molecules, and chemical reactions. The tiny mechanics at work under the surface in our world excite your imagination, fuel your curiosity, and instill a sense of wonder. And this you want to share with the next generation of future scientists. Combine the best of our Chemistry major with best of Teacher Education. You’ll follow your Chemistry interests into the lab where you’ll use modern techniques in excellent facilities with direct faculty mentorship in a close-knit department. Additionally, you’ll learn the skills to be successful in teaching middle and high school-aged students the wonders of science. Through Teacher Education courses and field work, you’ll be on track for licensing to teach 7-12 grade science in Colorado’s public schools.
