About Jack Maynes

Jack Maynes is a native of Durango, Colorado. He earned his BA in Jazz Studies from Fort Lewis College in 2011. In addition to a busy performing schedule, he maintains a private lesson studio in Durango at Stillwater Music. Jack’s performance experience has encompassed various styles, including jazz, classical, rock, funk, country, and musical theater. He has been a session musician for numerous projects at Scooter’s Place Studios in Durango. Most recently, he was the touring guitarist and keyboardist for singer Chevel Shepherd (season 15 winner of “The Voice”).
