About Joy Kilpatrick

Joy Kilpatrick, an Omicron Delta Kappa Performing Arts recipient, earned her BFA from the University of Miami Theatre Conservatory Program before continuing her acting studies with a year-long internship with the Burt Reynold’s Institute for Theatre & Film and the Royal National Theatre in London. Joy has had the honor to work as a professional actress in Stage, TV and Film.  Some of her credits can be seen on IMDb. Her first love however has always been the theatre. Some of her most memorable roles have been right here on the FLC Main Stage playing Eurydice’s Mother in Eurydice and Ms. Fleming in Heathers: The Musical .  Joy loves sharing her passion for the Performing Arts with students of all ages and has been a theatre educator and yoga therapist here in Durango for over 10 years. Joy moved from Los Angeles in 2007 to raise her daughter in the fresh high altitude air of  the beloved San Juan Mountains.
