About Liz Cartwright
Liz Cartwright is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education at Fort Lewis College. Liz has over fifteen years of experience in Secondary Education and holds a Colorado Secondary Teaching License and a Colorado Principal License.
Her career has been defined by a commitment to fostering positive relationships, cultivating learning, and nurturing the conceptual frameworks underpinning educational growth and development. Liz believes that education goes beyond the confines of classrooms and textbooks. As an educator, she equips students with the skills and knowledge to take ownership of their education, make informed choices, and actively shape their academic paths.
Liz enjoys hiking with her husband and animals (three goats, three dogs, and one cat) and loves mountain biking, skiing, and reading.
