About Jay Dougan
Jay Dougan is a professor of art in the Department of Art & Design at Fort Lewis College, where he has been a faculty member since 2007. Known for his large-scale sculptures and ceramic work, Mr. Dougan has exhibited his art in galleries and museums, including the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado, the Delta Center for the Arts at San Joaquin Delta College, and the San Angelo Museum in Texas. In recognition of his exceptional teaching, he was honored with the Fort Lewis College New Faculty Teaching Award in 2011. Before his tenure at Fort Lewis, Mr. Dougan taught at the Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis.
