About Teri Hansen

Teri has received International recognition for their crossover abilities as an actor from Broadway/ London’s West End to film/tv and concert stages worldwide. They made their Broadway debut in The Boys From Syracuse and starred in London's West End as "Magnolia" in Hal Prince's Tony award-winning production of Show Boat. Most recently, they starred in the National Tours of The Sound Of Music ("Elsa") and the Tony Award-winning An American In Paris ("Madame Baurel"). Teri starred in tours of The Music Man as "Marian Paroo," "Guenevere" in Camelot, and "Magnolia" in Show Boat. They have appeared on "The Blacklist," "Law & Order SVU," "FBI: Most Wanted," and "Orange is the New Black." Internationally recognized as an interpreter of Weill, they starred as "Rose" in the film version of Kurt Weill's Street Scene. Teri has written a musical adaptation of Colette's CHÉRI, in development for Broadway.

Teri is President & CEO of Broadway Pops International and has worked with numerous symphony orchestras, including world premieres of Symphony for Elvis (with Cirque Du Soleil in Memphis) and Broadway Dreams (with the Kurt Weill Festival in Dessau, Germany). Teri is Program Director for Broadway al Monte, a summer musical theatre intensive in Italy.
