Dr. Williams is a mechanical engineer and has specialized in the areas of water systems for the Village Aide project as well as in alternative energy and characterization of methane emissions from all sectors of the oil and natural gas industry.

Dr. Williams is a mechanical engineer and has specialized in the areas of water systems for the Village Aide Project as well as in alternative energy and characterization of methane emissions from all sectors of the oil and natural gas industry. Her work with Dr. May has enabled students to travel to Nicaragua, Myanmar, Laos, Ecuador, and Thailand, where they partner with locals to create potable water systems and sanitation for their villages. This work includes engineering design, health and education, assessment, water quality testing, data collection, and project implementation.
