FLC department chairs

The Department Chair serves in one of FLC’s most crucial academic leadership roles, providing a vision for the department’s academic field of study: How is a discipline shaped and put into practice in an innovative, exciting FLC major? 

In addition to determining FLC’s academic curriculum, the Chair:

  • Oversees the lived experience of that programming, providing guidance to students as they navigate their coursework and degree requirements. 
  • Responsible for hiring and mentoring their fellow faculty, helping to ensure a collegial, collaborative approach to all academic projects.
