Benefits-eligible employees (.5 FTE and above) are covered from day one of employment.

All faculty and administrative professional staff positions are non-classified employees of Fort Lewis College, governed by the college's policies and procedures.
Classified employees are part of the Colorado State Personnel System and are governed by State Personnel Board Rules and Procedures and the Partnership Agreement.
Fort Lewis College provides access to two Employee Assistance Programs (EAP and C-SEAP) for all regular employees and their dependents. These programs offer confidential support and resources at no cost, ensuring employees and their families can access the help they need.
Both programs provide employees with 16 counseling sessions per fiscal year (8 sessions per program) and additional resources to support well-being.
