All faculty and administrative professional staff positions are non-classified employees of Fort Lewis College, governed by the college's policies and procedures.
Classified employees are part of the Colorado State Personnel System and are governed by State Personnel Board Rules and Procedures and the Partnership Agreement.
Fort Lewis College offers 11 paid holidays for all faculty and staff.
We have the discretion to grant requests for César Chávez Day, March 31, in lieu of another holiday within the same fiscal year. For details, please contact the Human Resources Office.
The holiday schedule does not apply to employees in the Physical Plant, Post Office and Police/Parking Services Essential Service Employees.
