During the most recent IT department network upgrade project, Aury worked tirelessly Friday night, all day Saturday until after 9pm, and continuing on Sunday. Aury was always available for testing service availability, access issues, etc., while the network team implemented the network upgrade. To the Bike Coaches and Carson - Thank you for being great PPS/Grounds Department neighbors. We appreciate the hydration drinks to keep us going. We enjoy your great attitude and teamwork with us.

The network team, specifically Cody Reynolds and Brian Foster, performed a network upgrade over spring break Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd. The work they did was massive in scope, super important to the stability of the network, and very much needed. Regardless of the setbacks around the firewalls and static routes, the network team exemplified excellent performance, teamwork, and going above and beyond to accomplish the goals defined in the project. Good job, guys!

Jed deserves the Super Hero Fli Hi Award. Between the delays and complications caused by the DOE with the FAFSA and trying to get Workday tested for implementation, Jed has remained a calming presence and motivator for our team. On March 30th, the Berndt Hall Datacenter suffered a failure in one of the compressors for the air cooling unit. Since then, Mike has spent many hours working to fix the unit (including over the weekend). Mike and the PPS team devised a secondary means to keep the data center cool while the main unit gets fixed. His relentless effort to fix the issue, combined with outstanding communication, shows excellent teamwork and performance. I applaud Mike and his continual efforts to contribute to the college in ways that probably aren't normally recognized. Thanks, Mike!

My role at FLC relies heavily on IT because I manage the donor database. Monica is always helpful and insightful with troubleshooting and managing systems within the rest of FLC. My most recent error needed FLC & Vendor support, and Monica was helpful as always, providing critical feedback to the vendor, who agreed that Monica's advice was probably right. She saved a lot of time and back and forth. I truly appreciate her, especially with all the additional time she is putting into Workday!
