Recognize a colleague with a Fli-Hi Award

Want to show your appreciation for a fellow employee’s hard work? The Fli-Hi Award is a simple way to give them the recognition they deserve. Just follow these three steps:

  1. Fill out the online submission form
  2. We send a copy to you, the recipient, the recipient's supervisor, and put in the employee’s files

Each month, Fli-Hi Award recipients will also be celebrated in a campus-wide spotlight! Thank you for supporting and encouraging the amazing work happening at Fort Lewis College. Let’s keep building each other up.

Andy is one of the most reliable, responsive, helpful employees at FLC. His #1 priority is the student's safety and having a positive experience in the residence halls. He is always willing to jump in where needed to ensure his team is supported and the work gets done. Thank you for all you do, Andy!

Celeste regularly keeps an eye out on her students to understand how their doing in their academic experience and lets others know if there is anyone that may need additional support.

Curt is an incredible team player and has helped execute several key updates on the FLC website. His know-how, humor, and grit are indispensable! He has taken his role in stride and is already making huge gains for the IT and web world. Most recently he helped execute a much-need core software update on the website. Thank you, Curt, for always being a creative problem-solver and executing on these big updates!

Deb is an amazing colleague and an integral part of life on campus. Whether it's making sure the vehicles rented are taking care of, to all the work orders from students and staff she directs to the right departments. Deb is a constant help to all here at Fort Lewis. I know many of PPS would be lost without her expertise and willingness to always be ready to assist. I cannot thank Deb enough for all she does and I tell her when I can that she is "The Saint of PPS".

Mikayla acted quickly to admit and enroll an employee for them to be able to participate as a student in a last-minute class add. I was super impressed by her dedication and quick response. Thank you!!!

Nonette works extremely hard to keep our grants running here a FLC. I want to be sure she knows that all the work she does "behind the scenes" has a huge positive impact on our students and faculty (and me)! I'm very grateful for her expertise and support. Thanks, Nonette!!

Paula does an absolutely amazing job supporting 3 large & busy departments! Her willingness to help, stupendous organizational skills, and friendly demeanor don't go unnoticed. Thanks for all you do Paula!

The Workday/StarRez integration has not been the smoothest and Shane has been my lifesaver manually running adjustments for Housing in an on-demand basis (and we have a lot). He is always super quick and responsive, which is tremendously appreciated since it impacts student's financials. Thank you so much for being amazing, Shane!
