Recognize a colleague with a Fli-Hi Award

Want to show your appreciation for a fellow employee’s hard work? The Fli-Hi Award is a simple way to give them the recognition they deserve. Just follow these three steps:

  1. Download the Fli- Hi Award (PDF)
  2. Fill in the downloaded form and Save it with a different file name
  3. Upload it to Human Resources secure website
  4. We send a copy to you, the recipient, the recipient's supervisor, and put in the employee’s files

Each month, Fli-Hi Award recipients will also be celebrated in a campus-wide spotlight! Thank you for supporting and encouraging the amazing work happening at Fort Lewis College. Let’s keep building each other up.

Michelle is a wonderful asset to the campus. She makes a point to talk to all her students in her assigned hall and goes out of her way. We have a saying in our department, and Michelle won (IYKYK).

Taylor has been helping out right when and where we need it since day one, for both departments she works with and beyond. She consistently goes above and beyond to help her colleagues and support our community. I am especially impressed with the planning and implementation of Family Weekend. It was so well done, with even the more minute details being thought of. Families, students, staff, and faculty who attended were all impressed and grateful. She made this happen without much of a foundation and in no time at all. Thank you, Taylor, for your dedicated service!

Although Julia's contributions to the day Custodial crew are often out of sight, they are not out of mind. Thank you, Julia, for all the challenges you navigate for the Custodial crew, both situational and institutional. Your efforts are not unnoticed or unappreciated.

Kajen supported me in a couple of big ways recently. Not only were they there for me when I needed access to student data, but they also helped me a ton with issues I had with Workday. Thank you, Kajen! I appreciate you!

Claire did a fantastic job redesigning FLC's NEWS website! You're missing out if you haven't seen its modern design, mobile responsiveness, and intuitive categories yet. Thanks for making our campus and community stories shine, Claire!

Clint came to the rescue and responded very quickly when students had an issue accessing videos on Canvas. He provided multiple solutions with detailed instructions and coaching on what to do differently next time. Thank you, Clint!
