To Project the Computer

  1. Power on the projector and log in to the computer.
  2. Make sure that the laptop switch is not blinking and switching the input to the laptop cable. If there is no laptop switch, change the input to computer 1.
  3. When you are done, power of the projector by hitting the power button once, then one more time to confirm.

Projecting a DVD

  1. Power on the projector and log in to the computer.
  2. Insert your DVD into the disk drive on the computer and choose "VLC" from the list of options that pop up.
  3. When you are done, power of the projector by hitting the power button once, then one more time to confirm.
  4. If there is a DVD player, this can be used as well. Ensure the volume is turned up to 7 on the sound unit and use the remote to control the player.

Connecting a Laptop

 

  1. Locate the VGA cable (blue) next to the computer monitor.
  2. When projecting, locate the laptop switch and click that so the red light is blinking. If there is no switch, use the remote to change the input to computer 2.
  3. For audio, connect the spare auxiliary cable and make sure the sound system is on.

 

Lights
There are several banks of dimmable lights in this classroom. The light switches are control located near the Computer desk and the classroom door.

Microphones
There are wireless microphones (Lapel and Handheld) located in a drawer in the equipment rack. Each mic is labeled and has a corresponding labeled volume knob on the amplifier.

Slide Projectors 
There are 3 ceiling mounted slide projectors (35mm) in the rear of the classroom. There is a remote control for each projector kept in a drawer of the equipment rack.
