Connect with a Student Ambassador in the FLC Admission Office who was a transfer student.

Current FLC students will reach out to you throughout the summer before your first semester at FLC to provide additional guidance through the admission process and tips to help you be successful and well at FLC.

Join our New Student Orientation as part of a special section for transfer students.

Take a First-Year Launch course during your first semester at FLC. This 1-credit class is an opportunity for transfer students to network, find their place in the FLC community, and learn about resources for academic success and holistic well-being.

Customize your tour to see specific areas of campus and meet with departments or programs you’re interested in.

Our Transfer Tour program is a campus tour and informational session for prospective transfer students. Join us to learn about FLC, Durango, the transfer process, transfer scholarships, and financial aid, and explore our beautiful campus in the sky.

The program includes an opportunity to meet one-on-one with our Transfer Specialist to discuss transfer credits for coursework you’ve already completed, determine your progress toward a degree, and get other great info specific to your needs.​​​​​​ It is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Breakout sessions on financial aid, the admission process, finding a major, and student involvement - Transfer student Break-out session to talk about transfer admission and advising process
• Meet with your admission counselor
• Lunch in the dining hall
• Personalized Campus tour: students get to pick specific academic buildings they are interested in seeing
• Student Resources and Involvement Fair: Students get to talk with faculty and staff of different departments at stations one one-on-one
