Notes: Photo of Sophie (Sarah?) Saraficio is pounding on a yucca root in order to prepare it for washing a finished basket with yucca roots suds. She is bent over with a round stone in one hand and a yucca root in the other and holding it against a flat stone. There is a barrel behind her with a basket resting on top. A large can and two other stones are situated near her.
