Using science to support legal decisions

The sciences have many applications—as a forensic scientist, you’ll bring scientific knowledge to the courts to support justice in the legal system. Couple our Forensic Sciences minor with a related major such as Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Psychology, or Sociology, for maximum benefit. You’ll learn about the interaction between the sciences and the legal system, as well as the theory and methods used in forensic applications, and gain valuable experience evaluating evidence and data in case study, lab, and field situations.
