Fort Lewis College was recently designated a “military friendly school” by militaryfriendlyschools.com.

The site is a service of G.I. Jobs, a non-governmental clearinghouse of employment and education resources that help veterans transition from military to civilian life. G. I. Jobs surveys more than 7,000 universities annually on efforts and success at recruiting and retaining veteran students. Qualifying schools are then compiled and posted on militaryfriendlyschools.com, which includes a guide to each schools' offerings and services, and offers a free “matchmaker” tool to help veterans find schools best suited to their needs and situation.

Also on militaryfriendlyschools.com, FLC will be highlighting several student veterans discussing their educational experiences here, and offering advice to other veterans considering pursuing their own educations.
