Kali Fajardo-Anstine, an author celebrated for shedding light on the overlooked stories and histories of Chicano and Latinx communities in the American West, will deliver the keynote address for Fort Lewis College’s 2024 Spring Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4.

The day-long event brings together national policymakers, local experts, scientists, artists, and community members under a shared vision of environmental action and adaptation.

Fort Lewis College is awarding three professorships providing recipients with funding for high-impact, community-based projects.

FLC supporters rallied during this year’s Giving Tuesday, inspiring 582 people to donate to 123 causes and raising $622,122 in philanthropic support, a 28 percent increase from last year. 

In two short weeks, Fort Lewis College is celebrating its fifth annual #GivingTuesday, a 24-hour fundraising campaign that seeks to raise funds from 550 donors this year. 

DURANGO – Local entrepreneurs and philanthropists Marc and Jane Katz are donating $10.4 million dollars to Fort Lewis College's School of Business Administration, the single largest gift in the College’s history.

History classes just got a little cozier on campus. Students are invited to pull up a chair and stoke their flame for studying the past at the HEARTH, also known as the History Education And Research Teaching Hub.
