What better way to study European art and culture than to witness it? In May, Paul Booth, associate professor and chair of Art & Design, and Julie Tapley-Booth, business manager of the Center of Southwest Studies, did just that with a troupe of eight students. After a week-long ART 390 course introduction taught on the FLC campus, the group traveled to Spain for the following two weeks. While there, they filled each day with visits to architectural masterpieces and museums, Spanish cooking lessons, and bike rides to scenic vistas in the cities of Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, and Barcelona.
