As a way to celebrate and share Women’s History Month, the Office of Diversity Programming asked Fort Lewis College community members to select a feminist hero they would be proud to honor. They were then photographed with the WMH mug, their mug, and the name of their inspiration. The results are what you see here.

Fort Lewis College annually evaluates professors on the merit of their teaching, service, and scholarly activities and confers promotions and tenure to high achievers. In addition, some professors are awarded the title of Emerita to honor them for lengthy service.

I work as a family nurse practitioner in the Student Health Center, and just love my job! I see students for primary and preventive health care issues. I have been working here for 11 years.

In honor of her late husband, Paula Lutz is creating two scholarship programs at Fort Lewis College. The first, called the Stan Rabbe Memorial Cycling Scholarship, is an endowed scholarship for deserving students on the Skyhawk Cycling Team.

Each year outstanding faculty and staff are recognized by their peers for their hard work and excellence. The award winners will be honored at the Fort Lewis College Employee Recognition Reception on May 4, 2015.
