How the institution determined which students did, or will receive emergency financial aid grants and how much funding they did, or will receive.

Students are considered for the Higher Education Emergency Relief funds by submitting an online application. Student who received a Federal Pell Grant disbursement are automatically awarded and send notice to accept funding. How much funding each student may receive is based on an approved matrix based on a student’s FAFSA information. On the application students also select whether they want the funds to be applied to their FLC account or refunded to them if approved.

Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the emergency financial aid grants.

Students were emailed instructions for applying for the grant and the instructions and information regarding the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds is posted on the FLC COVID website
