Kain Ellis (they/he) is a Queer Trans, Non-Binary Polyamorous human who adamantly resisted becoming a counselor for a long time. Their own experiences holding non-normative identities led them to finally accept the Universe's persistent pushing and find themselves here as a way to support others navigating oppressive systems. Kain believes in healing within the community, the resiliency of the nervous system, and how we experience the world, which is shaped by our identities. Kain is a certified granola nature gay, so you can often find them outside touching rocks and trying to befriend local lizards. Their ideal day is somewhere on a raft on a desert river. They currently have their LPCC and work in CO-REsponse.
