(she/her/hers)
I am originally from Boise, Idaho and moved to Durango in 2012 to attend Fort Lewis. After finishing my bachelor's degree in 2016, I decided to stay in the area after falling in love with the outside world. In 2019 I received my master's in education from Fort Lewis and taught middle school English for four years. I loved getting to know the students and supporting them, but decided that counseling was a better path for me and started the counseling program at Adams State in 2023.
My theraputic style is focused on building a trusting relationship with my clients to help them reach their goals and learn more about themselves. I am influenced by humanistic and feminist counseling theories. I am excited to get to know the students at Fort Lewis and gain experience with a diverse group of people.
In my free time I am outside skiing, biking, running, and fishing. Ask me about my cat.
