All students living on campus without full kitchens are required to have a meal plan.

Founded in 2000, Fresh Ideas prides itself on responding to the latest food industry trends and dietary needs of its customers. They look forward to partnering with the Old Fort, providing fresh food options, and incorporating a menu that serves the diverse population of the college.

Our eggs come from vendors who share our commitment to ethical farming practices.

Durango coffee

The rich flavors of our coffee come from our local roaster, Desert Sun.

We recycle food waste into our garden compost and process cardboard, glass, and plastic.

Reusable to-go

Use eco-friendly containers for your meals. Once you bring it back you can get a new one.

Our trayless dining system reduces food waste and saves water and energy.

Convenient dining choices

Exchange a swipe for a meal at Durango EATS, Berndt Hall Café, Jones Hall Fresh N Go, or Summit Sips & Smoothies.

Sit down for a full meal at two campus dining locations. Use your meal plan swipes, Dining Dollars, cash, or card. 

San Juan Dining Hall

Our main dining hall offers a wide variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free entrées, in an all-you-care-to-eat format for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

Zia Taqueria (coming soon)

Located in the Student Union, it’s a favorite lunch spot, specializing in burritos and tacos.
