How does the application process work?

Continuing and returning students who apply for housing are assigned time slots for room selection based on their number of earned credits, with students with more earned credits receiving earlier time slots. Students can create roommate groups in the Housing Application, which allows the group leader to select rooms for each person.

February 5

Housing application opens at 8 a.m. Students are assigned time slots for room selection based on earned credits (not first come, first served)..

 Room selection

What should I expect for the room selection process?

Once your time slot has arrived, return to your Housing Application, and you'll see more pages available. You can filter by building and room type and pick the exact spot you want to live in from the available rooms.

There is no time limit on when you can make your selection. However, it's important to know that room availability may decrease as more students make their choices. So, while there's no rush, selecting your room earlier ensures a wider range of options.

Students should coordinate with their roommate group to determine who has the earliest timeslot. This way, the group leader can select the room that best suits the group's preferences.

Placement rounds

  • First round placements, week of March 11
  • Second round placements, May 20
  • Third round placements, July 8
  • Late applicant placements, August 5
    • Room assignments for students who applied after July 5. Students who apply after August 5 will receive a fall housing assignment based on availability. Housing placement is not guaranteed.
