We’ll be reading the book “What if We Get it Right? Visions of Climate Futures" by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, a marine biologist and climate policy expert. This book is an anthology of interviews, poems, and art by visionary folks making real change and offering transformative solutions to our climate crisis. The book club will meet four times in spring semester. Our first meeting is Thursday, February 6, 4-5 pm at the Environmental Center. Subsequent meetings will be scheduled at the first meeting based on availability of participants. The book club is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

A hardcover copy of the book is available to the first 20 people who sign up, priority deadline is 1/22/25. Books will be distributed at the first session. Questions can be sent to Sadie Magnifico, srmagnifico@fortlewis.edu.
