Outdoor Pursuits members can participate in local, regional, and international Outdoor Pursuits trips, activities, clinics, and workshops. Climb, bike, ski, raft, kayak, canyoneer, mountaineer, and more, led by our professional staff and student leaders.
Our playgrounds are our incredible planet's rivers, deserts, oceans, beaches, lakes, and mountains. We venture to Colorado, Utah, California, Alaska, Arizona, Mexico, Russia, Panama, Ecuador, Washington, Africa, and beyond!
OP programming is open to all skill levels and abilities.

Equipment rentals through OP is FREE! To rent equipment, the Outdoor Pursuits member must be present and have a valid FLC SkyCard with a current OP membership sticker.
Outdoor Pursuits staff manage the climbing wall in the SLC. Only members of the SLC can use the climbing wall; no OP membership is necessary. Guests may climb at the wall if they purchase an SLC Guest Pass

The Student Outdoor Leaders, or SOL, is a team of students who lead trips for Outdoor Pursuits. It is a mentorship model that utilizes outdoor adventures to cultivate character development and leadership competence.

FLC students: Student fees include full access to Outdoor Pursuits.
Faculty and staff: $125 membership fee (valid from the first day of classes to mid-August of the following year). OP does not prorate memberships. We accept credit/debit or SkyCard. The Faculty & Staff OP Membership does not include access to the Student Life Center Climbing Wall.
Complete an OP Membership Application Form for programming and equipment liability. After that, you only need a valid SkyCard to access our programs and services. You must pre-register for classes and events.
