Latinx Symposium

We will have presentations, conferences, and resources for students and community members relating to Latinx/Latine issues. The purpose of this symposium is to empower and support our Latine community on campus and in the larger Four Corners Area. This event is being hosted by various organizations; including SASO, Construyendo Poder, Compañeros, Good Food Collective, El Centro de Muchos Colores and FLC's Sociology Department.
2024 HomeBuyer Education Class

Our HomesFund Homebuyer Education Class covers the process of homebuying, including Budgeting, Real Estate, Lending, Insurance, and Inspections. We also go over the programs for down payment assistance as offered by HomesFund. The class is from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. There will be a 15-minute break in the morning, an hour's lunch, and a 15-minute break in the afternoon. There is a $15.00 materials fee for the workbook that you get to take home. Only one workbook per household is needed however you can purchase as many as you would like. You will be required to pay this fee through PayPal at registration at www.HomesFund.org and will receive your workbook on the day of class.

Join us for QPR to learn valuable skills to equip you with the power to prevent suicide. QPR stands for Question, Persuade & Refer and is an emergency response training for someone in crisis. Attendees will learn warning signs of suicide, how to offer hope and how to get help and save a life. Please register for the training ahead of time using this link .
