Fort Lewis College President Tom Stritikus comments on FLC’s reconciliation efforts after History Colorado published, this week, the executive summary of its investigations into the former federal Indian School located at Fort Lewis Hesperus Campus. "FLC continues to examine what our genesis as a Federal Indian Boarding means for the future we want to create. We remain focused on reconciliation and healing. The FLC women’s basketball team won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's 2022-23 Brechler Award, recognizing the Skyhawks squad as the league’s top academic women’s basketball team with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.57.
