M105 Group

M105 Group: M105 is an E1 elliptical galaxy in the constellation Leo (the round one on the left in the picture). Also in the "group" are NGC 3371, the other elliptical, and NGC 3373, the fainter spiral above the others.

Guiding: Meade 5" refractor/DSI Pro/PHD

Processing Notes: Original LRGB image created in AstroArt. That image had some serious background gradients from reflections of... ??? Much later, the resulting jpg image was imported into Photoshop and "fixed" using a Carboni "flatten" action. This worked well enough to post.
