Subjects: Indians of North America--Social life and customs--Photographs; Placerville (Colo.)
Notes: Totem pole with human face at top and numerous geometric designs down rest of the pole to the ground. A series of words run down the left side of pole. A single-story building is in the background at right and a two-story building is at left background.The words on the pole are separated by dots, horizontal lines, and other symbols. The letters are "E CHO WA A TAW CHO CO TA TI Y O" One number is written on sleeve 1415. Also typed on sleeve is "Totem Pole Near Placerville"
