Notes: Several partial sandstone block walls and rooms are situated in an alcove. There is a dark black stain in the roof of alcove near the back from burning fires for warmth and cooking. Rubble is located near the base of the ruins and alcove.Site possibly located in Sand Canyon, just west of Cortez, Colorado. Two numbers written on sleeve 1436 A and (more recently) 465. Also written on sleeve is "Sand Creek Ruins Burned House"
