First-Year Launch is our signature program for first-year students. There are many topics to choose from because our faculty and staff have designed these half-semester, one-credit courses around topics they're interested in and passionate about.

Admitted Student Day in Durango for Fall 2024 offers faculty sessions, financial aid, housing details, student involvement opportunities, and social events for students and their families.

First-year students are guaranteed on-campus housing but all students can apply. Apply as soon as you can because housing placements are first come, first serve!
FLC has a great selection of on-campus dining options, too. You can purchase a delicious meal plan whether or not you live on campus.
